Trucks and Buses - Aftersales Engineering Vehicle Training Content Developer

Location :Bangalore

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Training Content Developer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality training content for instructor-led training on Daimler Truck North America's (DTNA) vehicle systems. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent writing skills, and experience developing training content for the automotive industry.

*Responsibilities for Candidates

  1. Content Development: Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive, accurate, and engaging training content for instructor-led training on DTNA's vehicle systems.
  2. Technical Accuracy: Ensure technical accuracy and consistency of training content, collaborating with subject matter experts as needed.
  3. Having experience interacting with trainers and have trained the trainers
  4. ILT Design: Design instructor-led training (ILT) content, including lesson plans, participant guides, and presentation materials.
  5. Field Query Incorporation: To enhance relevance and quality, incorporate field queries and real-world scenarios into training content.
  6. Content Review and Validation: Review and validate training content to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with DTNA's standards and policies.
  7. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Service, and Training, to ensure alignment and accuracy of training content.
  8. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines to ensure timely delivery of high-quality training content.

*Qualifications for Candidates

 

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 5-10 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably with an OEM, focusing on vehicle training content development for instructor-led training.
  3. Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  4. Technical Writing Skills: Excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to create straightforward, concise, and engaging training content.
