Qualification: MBA(Industrial Management) / B.Tech(ME / Industrial / Chemical or Manufacturing)

Experience: 10+ Years (Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role)

Salary: up to 15 LPA

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management:

• Oversee daily production activities to meet volume, quality, and cost targets.

• Develop and implement production schedules and resource plans.

• Drive the implementation of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve processes.

2. Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE/HSE):

• Establish a strong safety culture and ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.

• Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.

3. Financial & Budget Management:

• Develop, manage, and control the annual plant budget, optimizing resource allocation.

• Monitor and analyze plant performance metrics (KPIs) for productivity, cost, quality, and inventory.

• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.

4. Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a large, diverse team of supervisors, engineers, and plant personnel.

• Oversee personnel management functions, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and employee relations.

• Foster a collaborative and accountable work environment.

5. Quality and Compliance:

• Ensure all products meet stringent quality control standards and customer specifications.

• Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO certifications) and local/national regulations.

6. Maintenance and Reliability:

• Direct the maintenance department to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for machinery and facility infrastructure.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Coordinate effectively with corporate functions (Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, HR) to align plant operations with overall business strategy.

• Proficiency in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting.

• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of the organisation and external stakeholders.
