Job Overview

We are seeking a Purchase Executive in Packaging to join our team in Gurgaon. This is a full-time position for candidates with up to 3 years of work experience. The role involves managing procurement activities, focusing on packaging materials, and working closely with vendors to ensure seamless supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in vendor management, negotiation, and procurement.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven ability in vendor management, negotiation, and procurement for effective purchase operations (Mandatory skill).
• Strong understanding of packaging materials and their properties to ensure suitability for various product types.
• Ability to analyze procurement costs and implement strategies for cost optimization without compromising quality.
• Experience in logistics coordination to ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain inventory levels efficiently.
• Proficient in using procurement software and tools to streamline purchasing processes and enhance productivity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and address potential supply chain issues.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process of packaging materials to ensure alignment with company standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to facilitate efficient negotiations and contract agreements.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery and reduce overstocking issues.
• Collaborate with production and quality control teams to address and resolve material-related issues promptly.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies to maximize budget efficiencies and enhance profitability.
• Prepare reports on procurement activities and provide insights to support strategic decision-making processes.
