Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced HR Compliance Manager to ensure the company's HR policies and procedures comply with local and national regulations. The role will be based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India and requires a Senior professional with 7 to 10 years of experience. This is a full-time position at A L Paper House, the largest Handmade Paper & Paper Products Exporter in India.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven work experience as an HR Compliance Manager or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of local and national HR laws and regulations
  • Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Ability to conduct audits and investigations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in HR software and MS Office Suite
  • Certifications in HR compliance or related fields are a plus


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Manage Audits like SMETA, BSCI, SEDEX, GSV, GRS & ISO
  • Manage buyers and third-party factory compliances Audits.
  • Develop and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and national HR laws and regulations
  • Ensure employee adherence to HR policies and conduct regular audits to identify any gaps or areas for improvement
  • Provide guidance and training to HR staff and managers on compliance matters
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR laws and regulations and communicate any changes or updates to relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as legal counsel and government agencies, to address compliance issues
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints related to HR policies and compliance
  • Conduct internal investigations as necessary and recommend appropriate corrective actions
  • Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies as per legal obligations
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and benchmark HR compliance programs against industry standards
  • Participate in strategic planning initiatives and provide input on HR compliance matters
