Engagement Overview:

We are seeking an experienced contract Web Developer to provide hands‑on development support across our web platforms. This role focuses on execution and implementation across WordPress and Adobe Commerce, supporting active initiatives and ongoing site enhancements within established priorities and workflows.

The ideal resource can ramp quickly, follow defined standards, and deliver high‑quality, production‑ready code while working closely with internal stakeholders and existing agency partners.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities:

1. Web Development & Implementation

• Execute front‑end and full‑stack development across WordPress, including custom templates, themes, plugins, and CMS enhancements.
• Support Adobe Commerce (Magento) storefront development, including front‑end customization, theming, and UI updates.
• Perform content updates across the site, including creating new pages and updating existing pages using established templates, components, and CMS workflows.
• Implement scoped features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on documented requirements and design specifications.
• Collaborate with UX, Marketing, and agency partners to implement approved designs and functional requirements.

2. Performance & Site Support

• Contribute to ongoing site performance improvements, including Core Web Vitals and mobile optimization.
• Support hosting and infrastructure tooling as needed, including WP Engine environments and Cloudflare configuration updates.
• Diagnose and resolve development‑related issues across staging and production in coordination with internal leads.
• Discoverability, Analytics & Integrations (Implementation Focus)
• Implement technical SEO updates, structured data, and site architecture changes as defined by internal guidance.
• Support implementation and troubleshooting of analytics, marketing technology, and personalization tools.
• Assist with web‑level integration work related to systems such as Marketo, Salesforce, NetSuite, and Boomi, in coordination with IT and platform owners.

Required Experience & Skills:

• 7+ years of hands‑on web development experience.
• Strong proficiency in PHP‑based environments.
• Advanced experience with WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development.
• Working experience supporting Adobe Commerce (Magento) storefronts, particularly front‑end efforts.
• Strong front‑end development skills using HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience working with WP Engine and Cloudflare environments.
• Familiarity with marketing and analytics technologies such as Marketo, 6sense, and Qualified.
• Solid understanding of MySQL, APIs, and secure handling of form and lead data.
• Experience working within structured release and deployment workflows across development, staging, and production.
