Hiring : TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST
(Reinsurance PAS – Singapore/APAC)

Role Purpose :
The Technical BA leads the structured definition of all reinsurance requirements, supports vendor selection, and translates business processes into functional and technical specifications for the Reinsurance PAS. They act as the key link between business SMEs, vendors, architects, and engineering/migration teams.
Key Responsibilities :
A. Requirements Definition (FAC & Reinsurance Operations)
- Lead a fresh, detailed requirements exercise covering:
- Facultative reinsurance
- End‑to‑end operational processes
- Claims, finance, and settlement workflows
- Documentation outputs (slips, closings, advices, statements)
- Bordereaux formats & reporting requirements
- Compliance, audit, and control needs
- Produce a comprehensive BRD/FSD for use in solution design.
B. Vendor Selection Support
- Translate requirements into vendor evaluation criteria.
- Support structured vendor assessments, clarification cycles, and scoring.
- Contribute to the vendor recommendation report with evidence‑based rationale.
C. Solution Design
- Produce:
- Reinsurance Target Operating Model (TOM)
- Detailed process maps (FAC, claims, recoveries, finance, bordereaux)
- Data model & data dictionary
- Integration requirements (finance, DWH, group reporting)
- Compliance & audit framework recommendations
- Work with architects and engineers to refine solution options.
D. Data Migration Analysis
- Identify RI data sources and document lineage.
- Define field sets, cleansing rules, and mapping templates.
- Translate migration needs into technical specifications for engineers.
E. Implementation & Testing
- Write test scenarios and business validation steps.
- Support workflow validation and UAT execution.
- Assist in cutover planning, readiness checks, and hypercare reporting.
Skills & Experience :
- 5–8 years Business Analysis experience in reinsurance or complex PAS programmes.
- Deep knowledge of:
- Facultative reinsurance
- Bordereaux processing
- Reinsurance accounting cycles & finance integration
- Strong process mapping and documentation skills (BPMN, Visio).
- Experience defining TOMs, data dictionaries, and integration requirements.
- Vendor selection and evaluation experience preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement across business, actuarial, finance, and technical teams.
