Job Description – Senior Software Developer (Python + GenAI)

Position: Senior Developer

Client: Amdocs Development Centre India LLP

Location: Pune (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with strong expertise in Python and hands-on experience with Generative AI (GenAI) libraries. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable AI-driven solutions, integrating LLMs, and contributing to cutting-edge projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications with a focus on LLMs and GenAI libraries (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and integrate AI-driven applications into enterprise systems.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of applications in hybrid cloud environments.
• Work with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines for deployment and automation.
• Leverage Azure (preferred) or other cloud platforms for hosting and scaling AI solutions.
• Contribute to architectural discussions, technical designs, and best coding practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience as a Software Engineer/Developer.
• Strong expertise in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with LLM & GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph – Must Have).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have

• Proficiency with containerization tools (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable).
