Required Background

Looking for strong Java developers with hands-on experience in Retail or Supply Chain.

Candidates from companies/projects such as DMart, Reliance, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, Infor, Infios, Apport, etc. are preferred.

WMS experience is optional but highly desirable.

Job Description

• 7+ years of professional engineering experience (mix of startup + large company preferred).
• Strong expertise in Retail / Supply Chain systems and solutioning using Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or any leading WMS platforms.
• Ability to influence Buy vs Build decisions for supply chain technology modules.
• Hands-on involvement in software transformation initiatives at scale.
• Experience with large-scale, cloud-native, event-driven architectures.
• Strong coding skills in Java and Java-based ecosystems.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Mandatory: Ability to work 3 days per week onsite at the Bangalore customer location.

• Design, build, and optimize scalable Java / Spring-based microservices for large retail or supply chain systems.
• Develop and integrate solutions across WMS platforms (Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Infor, etc.) and other supply chain technologies.
• Architect cloud-ready systems with experience in GCP (preferred) or AWS/Azure, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Work on distributed microservice architectures, async messaging, Kafka, and event-driven design.
• Build, refactor, and enhance backend services with strong Java, Spring Boot, REST/GraphQL, and database expertise (SQL + NoSQL).
• Deploy and manage services using Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud-native tooling.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, performance optimization, and production readiness activities.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, provide technical leadership, and mentor team members.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to design supply chain workflows and influence Buy vs Build decisions.
• Ensure high-quality code delivery with focus on monitoring, documentation, scalability, and maintainability.
