Job Title: Security Specialist / Risk & Compliance Lead

Location: Pune – SP / Bangalore (Hybrid)

Experience: 7–8 Years

Client: Vodafone

Shift Timing: 11:30 AM – 8:30 PM IST (Fixed shift)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Security Specialist to drive our Risk and Compliance initiatives and ensure a robust security posture across network, infrastructure, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of security concepts, governance, and vendor management, along with hands-on experience in risk assessment, network security, and security architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Risk Assessments / Risk Management and ensure adherence to compliance frameworks.
• Manage and monitor Information Security domains — focusing on Network Security (mandatory) and Infrastructure Security (optional).
• Perform Security Assessments across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Support and implement Secure by Design principles for systems and applications.
• Oversee Vendor Management and evaluate third-party risk.
• Develop and maintain Security Governance and Compliance (GRC) documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into all business processes.
• Participate in security audits and lead mitigation and remediation efforts.

Must Have Skills:

• Strong understanding of technology and security concepts.
• Proven experience in Risk Assessment / Management.
• Knowledge of Network Security and Cloud Security / Cloud Computing basics.
• Hands-on experience with Security Assessments and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent vendor management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, GIAC, TOGAF, SABSA (or equivalent).
• Self-starter with the ability to identify, assess, and manage risks effectively.

Good to Have / Secondary Skills:

• Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) experience.
• CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Any Cloud certification (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Strong understanding of technology and security concepts.

• Hands-on experience with Security Assessments and compliance frameworks.
