Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer (Java) with 5–8 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern Java (11/17+) along with hands-on experience in legacy Java web technologies such as JSP, Servlets, and JSF, and solid front-end skills in JavaScript.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java-based technologies
• Work on both front-end and back-end components to deliver high-quality solutions
• Develop server-side logic using Java 11/17+, JSP, Servlets, and JSF frameworks
• Build responsive UI components using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party services
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product teams
• Maintain and enhance existing legacy systems while contributing to modernization efforts
• Ensure adherence to best coding practices, security standards, and SDLC processes

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Backend:

• Strong proficiency in Java (11/17+)
• Hands-on experience with:
• JSP 2
• Servlets
• JSF 1.1
• Understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and multi-threading

Frontend:

• Proficiency in JavaScript
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3
• Basic understanding of front-end frameworks (optional but preferred)

Database & Integration:

• Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL)
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database design
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs

Tools & Technologies:

• Version control tools like Git
• Build tools such as Maven or Gradle
• Application servers like Tomcat, WebLogic, or JBoss

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Spring/Spring Boot
• Exposure to microservices architecture
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
