Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Researcher to drive innovation in AI-powered healthcare analytics. This role focuses on building advanced machine learning models, conducting statistical research, and extracting actionable insights from complex healthcare and insurance datasets. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with research-driven thinking to solve real-world problems in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities :

1. AI & Machine Learning Development

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models using Python
• Build predictive and classification models using Scikit-learn and other ML frameworks
• Work on advanced AI use cases such as risk prediction, fraud detection, and claims analytics

2. Data Analysis & Research

• Perform deep data analysis using Pandas and NumPy
• Apply statistical techniques for hypothesis testing, forecasting, and trend analysis
• Conduct research to improve model accuracy, interpretability, and performance

3. Healthcare & Insurance Analytics

• Analyze healthcare datasets, including claims and patient-level data
• Work with EDI formats such as:
• 837 (Healthcare Claim Submission)
• 835 (Payment/Remittance Advice)
• Develop insights related to cost optimization, utilization patterns, and fraud detection

4. Model Evaluation & Deployment

• Validate models using appropriate evaluation metrics and cross-validation techniques
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models into production environments
• Monitor model performance and retrain as needed

5. Collaboration & Innovation

• Work closely with product, engineering, and domain experts
• Contribute to AI strategy and research initiatives
• Stay updated with latest advancements in AI and healthcare analytics

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Document methodologies, experiments, and findings
• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders
• Ensure reproducibility and compliance with data standards

Required Skills & Expertise :

• Strong experience in:
• Machine Learning & AI model development
• Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
• Solid understanding of statistics and data modeling techniques
• Experience handling large and complex datasets
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
