Job Description – Azure Integration Consultant

Role Title: Azure Integration Consultant / Senior Consultant

Location: Any (PAN India)

Experience: 7+ Years / 9+ Years

Employment Type: Contract (Immediate Joiners Only)

Role Summary

We are seeking highly skilled Azure Integration Consultants with extensive experience in designing and developing enterprise-level integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Azure Integration Services, API development, and cloud-native architectures. This role requires immediate starters who can work with cross-functional teams and directly engage with customers to propose and deliver scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integrations/APIs using Azure Integration Services: Logic Apps (consumption & standard), Azure API Manager, Event Hub, Event Grid, Service Bus, Data Factory, Functions, and Azure Data Gateway.
• Define API specifications using Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Collaborate with customers, SMEs, and developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Propose architecture and integration design patterns, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
• Conduct integration design/code reviews and provide guidance to development teams.
• Implement SAML, OIDC, and OAuth2 for secure integrations.
• Leverage Azure DevOps for CI/CD, release management, and automation.
• Create best practices, templates, and guidelines for API and integration projects.
• (Preferred) Work on rules engine and multi-cloud environments.
• (Preferred) Integrate with ERP applications such as Oracle PeopleSoft.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7–9+ years of overall IT experience with strong background in JSON, XML, SOAP, REST APIs.
• 6+ years of hands-on design & development using Azure Integration Services.
• Must be Azure Certified (Developer/Architect).
• Proven expertise in Logic Apps, API Manager, Event Hub, Service Bus, Data Factory.
• Strong problem-solving, architectural, and client-facing communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of secure integrations and authentication protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML).
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and working with distributed teams.
