Manager Operations

THE ROLE

Supervise the Middle Office teams in Mumbai and work closely with Head of Operations to ensure a high standard of services are delivered. Leading best practice implementation within the Operations functions, as well as monitoring control measures within the business.

Responsibilities

·      Manage and overlook the daily operation of the Middle Office function which includes trade processing, cash, and position reconciliation, and shadow accounting

·      Identify and resolve operational issues

·      Work closely with team leads to ensure all deliverables are delivered with accuracy

·      Ensure operational procedures from each team for each client are up to date

·      Review and enhance existing workflow

·      Ensure proper allocation of tasks across team members

Skills Required

·      15+ years of experience in Operations/Middle Office preferably supporting Hedge Fund Managers

·      Good product knowledge which covers Equities, Fixed Income, OTC, Foreign Exchange and OTE products

·      3+ years of experience in team management

·      Excellent communication skill

·      Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and operation system

·      Independent, attentive to details and self-motivated

·      Good time management skill and able to work under pressure

Advantageous Skills

·      Previous experience in using Linedata Global Hedge, IMAGINE or ENFUSION is a plus

Academic Requirements

·      A degree holder in Finance or equivalent
