Key Responsibilities:

* Technical Leadership: Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central solutions.

* Solution Architecture: Define technical architecture and ensure that all technical components are correctly integrated and aligned with overall business requirements.

* Development Oversight: Oversee all stages of development, from planning to deployment, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

* Customization and Enhancements: Design, develop, and implement customizations and enhancements in Business Central to meet specific business needs.

* Integration Management: Manage integrations between Business Central and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.

* Code Quality and Standards: Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies.

* Team Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams, including business analysts and consultants, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

* Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance issues in Business Central, ensuring optimal system performance and user experience.

* Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for technical designs, development processes, and configuration settings.

* Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior developers and technical team members.

* Stay Current with Technology Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central and related technologies.

Requirements

* Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to effectively communicate complex technical and business concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including US customers.

* Experience in the Education Vertical: Strong understanding of the unique challenges and requirements within the higher education sector, ideally with experience working with institutions like the American University of Antigua

* Navision Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly Navision) Cloud, including its features, functionalities, and best practices.

* Cloud Migration Experience: Proven experience with on-premise to cloud migrations, particularly for ERP systems like Navision.

* Integration Skills: Expertise in integrating Navision Cloud with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency.

* Customer Focus: Strong customer orientation with a focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships with US clients.

* Working Comfort: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team

15+ years experience with NAV/Dynamics

Hands on development skills in C/AL

5+ years experience with SQL server or other RDBMS.

Able to work with teams and independently

Extensive experience with Web services

Experience with automation projects
