Job Overview

ActionAid Association is seeking Junior Face to Face Fundraising Executives to join our dynamic team in Bangalore, Chennai, or Hyderabad. This full-time role is ideal for individuals with a passion for communication and a proven track record in fundraising. The position requires excellent coordination and interpersonal skills to effectively engage potential donors in support of our cause.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong negotiation skills to effectively convey the organizational goals and persuade potential supporters to contribute to the cause.
• Proficiency in public speaking, enabling clear and compelling presentations to various audiences, enhancing donor engagement.
• Experience in event coordination to manage fundraising events that attract potential donors and raise awareness about our work.
• Superior interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with donors, enhancing long-term partnerships and support.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate the organization's mission and goals to diverse audiences.
• Prior experience in fundraising to understand donor psychology and apply effective strategies in securing contributions.
• Empathy and sensitivity towards social issues, allowing for genuine communication and rapport with likeminded individuals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, emphasizing collaboration to achieve collective fundraising objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Engage with potential donors in face-to-face environments and effectively communicate the mission and impact of ActionAid Association.
• Develop and implement innovative approaches and strategies to secure donations and support from individuals and organizations.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute fundraising events, ensuring successful outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Track and report on fundraising activities, ensuring transparency and accountability in donor relations and fund usage.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's campaigns and initiatives to better inform donors and inspire contributions.
• Build and nurture relationships with donors, fostering trust and repeat contributions to support ongoing and future projects.
• Uphold the values and ethics of ActionAid Association in all interactions, serving as an ambassador for the organization's mission.
• Continuously develop personal skills and fundraising techniques to enhance effectiveness and contribution to team goals.
