Role Summary
We’re looking for someone who knows how to bring in business—real business. This Business Development Manager role isn’t about generating cold leads or sitting behind a screen all day. We need someone who can get in front of the right people, have the right conversations, and turn those into long-term partnerships. If you’ve sold staffing or outsourcing services before—especially to larger or mid-sized companies—you’ll know what we’re talking about.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and run a clear strategy to help us bring in new clients. That might mean focusing on healthcare, logistics, e-commerce, finance—or whatever makes the most sense based on where we can add value.
- You’ll handle everything from start to finish—finding the opportunity, reaching out, putting together a plan, negotiating terms, and closing the deal.
- Keep a healthy pipeline of companies to talk to, especially ones where you can connect directly with top-level people—CEO, COO, founders, department heads.
- Make sure the way we’re pitching ACOUP BPO really speaks to each client’s needs. Nothing cookie-cutter. Just sharp, relevant proposals that make it clear we understand what they’re trying to solve.
- Once a deal is closed, work with our delivery and ops teams to make sure onboarding goes smoothly and we deliver exactly what was promised.
- Show up where it matters—events, industry meetups, client visits, and more. If people don’t know about us, you’ll make sure they do.
- Keep track of your own numbers. We’ll look at leads, meetings, signed contracts, and actual revenue brought in. It’s not about micromanaging—it’s just about making sure we’re moving forward.
Requirements
- You’ve been doing business development for a while—at least 7 years. Ideally in BPO, recruitment, staffing, or something close to it.
- You’ve brought in decent-sized clients before—not just short gigs, but full-on accounts that needed nurturing and serious value delivery.
- You get how outsourcing works. You’ve seen the gaps businesses face when it comes to staffing or support functions, and you know how to position a fix.
- You’re comfortable talking to executives and understand how to move complex deals along without losing momentum.
- Clear communication, solid negotiating skills, and long-term relationship building are second nature to you.
- If you know how things work in the UAE, GCC, or UK business environments, that’s a big bonus.
- You don’t need someone chasing you to get things done. You take initiative, figure things out, and follow through.
What We Offer
- A proper leadership role. You’ll have space to make decisions and shape how we grow.
- A team that moves fast, avoids unnecessary process, and actually backs each other.
