Job Description: Payroll Processor / Senior Payroll Processor

About the Role:

We are looking for detail-oriented and motivated Payroll Processors and Senior Payroll Processors to join our growing Payroll Operations team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing for assigned clients, while maintaining the highest standards of data confidentiality and service excellence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, validate, and process payroll inputs including attendance, leave, new joiners, exits, variable payouts, and deductions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing as per agreed client timelines with zero errors.
  • Validate payroll outputs, including statutory deductions such as PF, ESI, PT, and TDS, along with reimbursements.
  • Prepare payroll reports, MIS, and reconciliation statements as per client requirements.
  • Coordinate with client HR and Finance teams to address payroll queries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory compliance requirements and assist in filing statutory returns.
  • Support payroll implementation and transition activities during new client onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction.


Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Excel (mandatory) ** VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables. Basic formulas and data validation
  • Sound understanding of payroll components and statutory compliances (PF, ESI, PT, Income Tax).
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with a strong client-service mindset and willingness to learn.
