Android Automation 

Day-to-Day Activities: 

·       Improve the overall functional testing coverage for the Android mobile team. 

·       Design and implement new automation frameworks and automated tests. 

·       Provide frameworks, interfaces, and services that can be extended and reused for future requirements. 

·       Enforce clean code and excellent coding practices by conducting thoughtful code reviews. 

·       Evangelize quality in the Android mobile engineering team and guide engineers. 

·       Develop and communicate quality technical processes, standards, and best practices to the team. 

Complete JD 

·       6 years of experience in Android software development using Java/Kotlin. 

·       Complementing experience in Espresso, Appium, or other Android automation tools. 

·       Experienced in source code management such as GIT. 

·       Strong knowledge of QA concepts and deep experience in test design, debugging, and execution. 

·       Ability to develop a test framework from scratch with minimal supervision. 

·       Proficient in writing clean, modular, reusable code using appropriate design patterns. 

Mandatory skillset: Min 3 yrs of exp in Android testing, should have some exp in development, Total years of exp should be 4+, Kotlin/java, GIT, test design, debugging, and execution, code practices & review. Profile should be majorly in testing & less in development side.
