Job Title: Inhouse Service Engineer - Medical Devices

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Inhouse Service Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance services for our medical devices in Chennai. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience in medical device maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Commissioning:

- Install and commission medical devices at customer sites.

- Ensure devices are properly installed, calibrated, and functioning as intended.

2. Maintenance and Repair:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical devices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with devices.

- Replace or repair defective parts as needed.

3. Technical Support:

- Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders.

- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

- Generate reports on device performance and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

1. Experience: 5+ years of experience in medical device maintenance and repair.

2. Education: Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.

3. Skills:

- Strong technical knowledge of medical devices and equipment.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Good communication and customer service skills.

4. Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as CBET (Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician) or equivalent, are desirable.
