Job Summary:
The Business Head – Medical Equipment will lead the corporate Hospital sales division, drive business growth, and expand market presence for the company’s medical device portfolio. The role involves strategic planning, team leadership, key account management, and strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Strategy & Growth
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets for medical equipment.
Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and partnerships.
Conduct competitor analysis and market research to drive informed decision-making.
2. Corporate Hospital Sales Leadership
Lead, mentor, and motivate the corporate sales team to meet sales objectives.
Establish processes for lead generation, conversion, and client retention.
Oversee pricing strategies, proposals, and contract negotiations.
3. Key Account Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, healthcare groups, distributors, and corporate clients.
Engage with decision-makers, procurement managers, and clinical stakeholders to drive sales.
Ensure timely delivery, installation, and customer satisfaction.
4. Product & Technical Expertise
Demonstrate strong knowledge of medical equipment, technologies, and clinical applications.
Coordinate with product specialists, R&D, and technical teams to ensure accurate demonstrations, training, and support.
5. Financial & Performance Management
Monitor sales performance, KPIs, forecasting, and budgets.
Analyze profitability, margins, and market share growth.
Provide regular reports and business insights to senior leadership.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Service, and Supply Chain teams.
Contribute to product launches, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
Ensure compliance with medical industry regulations and company standards.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA Marketing).
07–12 years of experience in medical equipment sales, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of medical devices, hospital operations, and healthcare procurement processes.
Proven track record in corporate/B2B sales and business development.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
