Position: Sr. Software Engineer - QA Manual

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer (Manual) to oversee our quality assurance team. You will be required to manage all aspects of software and product testing within the company. This may include developing test strategies, drawing up test documents, identifying faults, and reviewing QA reports.

Job Role/Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Must have the experience in Functional Testing - Black Box Testing, White Box Testing and Grey Box Testing
• Must have the experience in Non-Functional Testing – Performance Testing, Security Testing
• Experience in Integration Testing
• Must have the experience in writing User Test Case. Able to understand and design the test cases.
• Designing and installing software databases.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Able to identify and good command on defect any defect tracking system.
• Should be an expert in integration, regression, and other functional-related testing.
• Should have used tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, Excel for the test-cases, and Scrum.
• Able to communicate in various ways, like Scrum meetings, Email, and other chat-based systems.

Skills required:

• BE/ B Tech (CS), M Tech (CS), MCA or equivalent degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manual testing.
• Relevant certificates like ISTQB will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrates high aptitude in a variety of software testing concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Must be aware of agile software development life cycle.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish quality assurance of a project within time frame by analyzing and design test scenarios.
• Can work with development team to accomplish engineering tasks and objectives under timeline defined.
• Check the behavior of project under variety of platforms.
• Ready to work with project developers to find causes of an issue.
• Be able to make release go/no-go decisions.
• A good understanding of the processes involved in commercial software development processes.
• Good verbal & written communication skills
• Works well in a team environment and makes reaching team goals the highest priority.
• A self-starter who can recognize area of impact and assurances client requirement is met and same time software remains flexible enough with upgrade.
• Is passionate about technology and software.
• Fluency in the English language
