Job Description: OpenStack Administrator

Position: OpenStack Administrator

Experience: 5–10 years

Salary: ₹5–18 LPA

Location: Trichy OR Bangalore

1. Mandatory Skills - OpenStack (HELM) deployment (Should have done deployment recently), CEPH, Openstack Installation planning, Linux.

2. Work Mode - Work From Office Only

3. Interview mode - Virtual

4. Notice period - 90 days

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage production-ready multi-region OpenStack cloud infrastructures.

Deploy and manage CEPH storage clusters for Block, File, and Object Storage.

Configure and manage OpenStack services (Keystone, Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, etc.).

Automate tasks using tools like Ansible and Terraform to optimize operations.

Monitor OpenStack and CEPH environments using Nagios, Prometheus, Zabbix, or similar tools.

Perform upgrades, patch management, and implement security best practices.

Handle production troubleshooting, incident management, and customer escalations.

Key Requirements:

Mandatory Skills: OpenStack deployment (recent experience), CEPH, Linux.

Proficiency in IPv4, IPv6, VLAN, VXLAN, OpenvSwitch, and SDN technologies.

Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket for CI/CD.

Programming skills (Python, Go, Ruby) are an added advantage.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
